Shelter him from hurt and pain.
When he's crying she wants to be
The comfort to his rain.
His heart's bleeding
Seeping out his anger and betrayal.
She wants to be his confidant
but rage only fuels the flames.
His arms have been the ones to
Offer safety, security and trust.
She would give her all to
Lend her caring arms to him for once.
He's so far away and she knows he's hurting
Makes her bitter and ashamed
For she cannot offer her baby comfort.
Long distance help has never been her thing,
She cannot seem to comfort over great distance it seems.
She wonders if he still wants anything from her
And she hopes so, even worse she prays.
For he is her shinning star
And for him she'd do anything
To ease his pain.}
